new art up today: kari maxwell
Today Longfellow neighborhood artist Kari Maxwell visited Chakra Khan to hang her work. (see pics on our facebook page) Many of the images are based on feathers, which reminds us of the sweet cooing pigeons outside our window—who may serenade you during your next session.

Rub your ears!
Happy Snow Day everyone!
Walk-in Monday is called off today so you can stay snuggled up at home (if you are lucky enough to be at home.) Staying home is a great way to avoid getting stuck in a snow bank—more snow is headed our way!

The Vine Arts Center is a collective of about 30 artists who host shows throughout the year. They all chip in to keep the gallery going and growing. Their current show is on Art + Wellness—we can’t deny it, we love...
